EDUARDO L. ARGUELLES

Eduardo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production & Studies from San Francisco State University in 1993. Since then, he has worked professionally in the entertainment industry and is an Emmy-nominated producer.
His PSA, ‘Nothing Stops a Bullet Like a Job,’ for Homeboy Industries, founded by Father Greg Boyle, earned him a Los Angeles Area Emmy Award nomination as a producer.
His narrative short film, ‘A Dream Tonal,’ which he wrote and directed, won Best Short at the Metaphysical Film Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His documentary short, ‘El Día de los Muertos,’ which he directed, won a Pacific Southwest Emmy Award for Best Historical/Cultural Program.

His first narrative feature film, ‘Cine Lotería,’ premiered at the San Diego Latino Film Festival. The Centro Cultural Tijuana celebrated the film as part of its independent film creators program, showcasing exceptional bi-national filmmakers.
